Me and hubby celebrated our 20th wedding
anniversary in early June and spent the day at Svartå manor. I had booked the
suite, which is located in an old transformer tower. We brought a bottle of
champagne, some strawberries and macaroons with us to kick-off the afternoon.

The suite had two floors... |

...and a private terrace. |
Later we had a reservation at the Slottskrogen restaurant
located in a former coach house on the manor grounds. We chose to sample the
six course menu degustation paired with wines and it was a very tasty and
thought-out package.
We had a truly lovely celebration and I can
warmly recommend Svartå manor to anyone looking for a relaxing time in historic
surroundings or a lovely meal. Come October we will continue the celebration
with a trip to Aruba, which is bound to generate some posts.
