California dreaming

We simply love traveling to the States and try to make a trip there at least every two years. There is just something about the culture that appeals to us and of course the shopping isn’t too shabby either. Have not been back since the Trump era started so not sure how I would like it now.

Anywho, New York is naturally a steadfast favorite that we never tire of but in recent years California has featured on the agenda with two trips in as many years. My love for California stems from an exchange student year at Lake Tahoe a couple of decades ago. I have been back to Tahoe three times since that year and most recently two years ago for a high school reunion. Other favorites include San Francisco and San Diego, SF with three visits and SD with two. Two years ago we coupled the trip to Tahoe with a few nights in San Fran and last fall we made a trip to San Diego with a stint to Temecula to visit my old host family that now live there.

To keep the love alive I decided to post some pics from these two recent trips.
